Avenues at the Station

Last Thursday evening Deena Marie, Kat Romrell and I had the fun opportunity of touring five gorgeous, new model homes in one of Oakwood Homes newest developments, Avenues at the Station in Farmington, UT. With fully customizable townhome and single-family-home floor plans, homes at Avenues at the Station are the perfect fit for the first time buyer, empty nesters or even the bachelor/bachelorette lifestyle.

All homes feature a contemporary design, 2 car garage, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and large dining islands, balconies with amazing views, spa-like bathrooms (I was obsessed with the showers) and plenty of natural light. Those are just a few of the unbelievable included features! The best part…all homes start at under $300,000!! That’s right, UNDER $300,000! 

Avenues at the Station offer a luxury lifestyle unlike any other in the state; it’s within walking distance of Station Park, Davis County’s hottest new shopping and dining destination. Commuting is made simple living near Front Runner and I-15. Yet when you need a little escape you can step outside your doorstep and go for a walk on the Rio Grand or Legacy Parkway Trail on the 50 acres of conservation land that surrounds the Avenues, offering the perfect blend of rural and urban at an affordable price. 

The first stop on the tour, the girls and I met with a few of the fantastic folks from Oakwood Homes and learned a little bit more about Oakwood has to offer.  I found myself instantly in love with how stylish and spacious the homes were and couldn’t wait to see the rest!

I love to cook, bake and throw dinner parties so I found myself practically drooling over the giant granite counter top islands, large counter space, walk-in pantries and endless storage.

 The fourth model home on our stop was one of my favorites; not only for the beautiful décor but it was the ideal home for entertaining, with two kitchens on the first and second level…swoon.

 There we enjoyed dinner from TwigsBistro & Martini Bar at Station Park, here’s where the foodie part of me gets excited!

 I ordered their Pesto Margherita Chicken which was lightly coated with pesto, topped with melted mozzarella, a tomato and finished with a balsamic glaze, all placed on top of chive sour cream mashed potatoes and kale. Not only was that incredible but I had one of the best Caesar salads as a side, needless to say I cleaned my plate. 

We finished our tour and the night with delicious dessert in the dining room of what I would call the “grand finale” home. The over 3,000 square foot home was absolutely stunning, I was ready to move in and become one of the “standard” features.
